Markilux 1600 Semi-Cassette Coupled Awning (11.6m X 4m) Fully Automated with an Anthracite Cassette

A Markilux 1600 semi-cassette coupled awning (11.6m X 4m) fully automated with an anthracite cassette. It features an automatic sun sensor alongside a Vibrabox auto-retract safety sensor. It was installed by our Watford Branch in Chesham.

Referred to as the “elegant one”, the Markilux 1600 achieved the IF product design award for its “harmonious, semi-circular design”. The top cover profile adapts itself to the angle of the pitch of the awning, closing completely flush with the front profile to protect the cover from the rain.

This installation featured an automatic sun sensor, designed to open the awning when a threshold value (Which can be set independently) is reached. A Vibrabox was also fitted to this awning, powered by a battery to prevent it being reliant on the mains – it will automatically close the awning if there is too much wind, preventing any potential damage that may be caused.
